At Roseberry Alternative Provision, our therapeutic learning approach plays a vital role in supporting children/young people in alternative provisions by addressing their physical, emotional, and mental well-being in a comprehensive and integrated manner.
Roseberry Alternative Provision can cater to students who have faced challenges in traditional educational settings, such as behavioural issues, emotional trauma, (ACES) adverse childhood experiences, or learning difficulties of any capacity. We provide an inclusive and engaging learning environment for young people who may find traditional education challenging.
Supporting Children in Our Care (CIOC)
Roseberry Alternative Provision also specialises in supporting Children in Our Care (CIOC), providing a safe, nurturing and supportive environment where young people can re-engage with education and develop confidence in their abilities. We understand that children in care may have experienced disruption, trauma, changes in placement or previous difficulties with education, and we recognise the importance of building trusting, consistent relationships. Our personalised approach considers each young person’s individual circumstances, strengths, needs and aspirations, working alongside schools, carers, social care professionals and other agencies to provide a joined-up programme of education and personal development. Our aim is to help every child feel valued, listened to and supported while developing the skills, resilience and confidence needed to achieve positive outcomes and progress towards a successful future.
Our approach brings together education, therapeutic learning, creative experiences, physical activity and practical life skills, we operate a person-centred approach and aim to help each young person develop confidence, resilience, self-awareness and the skills they need to progress.
